REALLY great staff. REALLY GREAT FOOD. You better be hungry. Good prices too. I highly recommend eating anytime of day.

First time here. Service was good, I wasn't sure where to place my order and I had to ask so they told me to hang out by the half door and they would be with me shortly. I found a menu on an empty table and placed my to-go order. Wasn't too long. The order was correct when I got home and it was good barbecue

What a cute little place! Menu is fairly simple and has favorites such as burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches with the usual sides. There are also a few daily specials/entrees like meatloaf, chopped steak, chicken and dumplings with traditional southern-style sides like mashed potatoes, potato salad, baked beans, etc. Each time I come here there are different veggies and entrees available, but for the most part, the menu is static. They also have breakfast available all day. The interior is rather small and quiet and provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere. My server was an elderly woman and was so chatty but in a friendly way I'd expect from a neighbor, which was very nice and made me feel like a welcomed customer. The prices here are great! They seem to not be affected by inflation, and I'm not complaining! Lunch, drinks, and dessert for 2 with tip was under $25, and I had leftovers to take home! They seem to cater more to take-out and have a drive thru also.

Great place really good breakfast, until my health went down loved to eat inside now my wife goes to the drive through and gets fish and I get hooked on the little corn dog basket, the short puppies with weeny and best French cooked just like I like them. I also like the tea and toast with breakfast. Last but not least the best waitresses.

Hendrix has good food. I had a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw that was huge, well made, and the bbq saice was really good. We also had fried okra, a flounder sandwich and a philly cheesesteak. Everything was well prepared, and a good value. 28.00 for all that. The place was popular....lot was full well after lunchtime and there were 6-8 cars in the drive thru the entire time i was there.

This place has been here my whole life under one name or another though it has been Hendrix a really long time. Our town has 3 locations but this one is my favorite and I know the daily specials by heart, they are different at each location. Monday is one of my favorite days to go, that is "Hamburger Steak" day and they have the best one around. The price has gone up a considerable amount since all this virus crap but that is the case everywhere with everything Wednesday is another favorite day because it is "Meatloaf" day. Each full meal or daily special comes with your choice of roll, hushpuppies or bun, do yourself a favor and choose the bushpuppies! If it is any other day I may be there getting a footlong all the way with white slaw cause well, hotdogs are my favorite food but because of fear of turning into a giant hotdog, I do on occasion eat something else. Look for me in booth #3, thats my favorite spot! Find me on google also under same name.

Being a native to Salisbury, I grew up on Hendrix. For supper, my husband and I went for BBQ salads. It was as yummy as I remembered, my husband not so much. What I do like about Hendrix is that they offer a lot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I used to LOVE their breakfast, but since I've gotten older I've enjoyed it less. However, if you want a cheap meal, with good service, this is the place to be!
